Before hitting the roads, we will make three stops, first to visit the Crazy house, a pinturesque hotel-museum in Dalat, then to see the old railway station of the city and finally to enjoy the architecture of the french village. Then we start our first day driving along the mountain paths, stopping along the way to visit local workshops such as a mushroom farm, silk factory, weasel coffee, ricewine, cricket farms... The Happy Buddha also awaits us with his big smile. After a mouth-watering lunch, we will drive along the Jungle way stopping over to see coffee plantations and the beautiful Elephant fall. From there, we drive directly to Lak Lake passing along some minority villages and staying overnight with a local family in a M’nong hill tribe typical longhouse.
In the morning, you will be able to take an elephant ride crossing the lake. From there, we jump to the bikes again direction Dak Mil. On the road we will stop to see the local rubber plantations, brick factory and to take a bath on the fairy pool, next to the Dray Sap waterfall. After, we keep riding along the beautiful landscape finally arriving to Dak Mil, where we spend the night.
We start the journey driving on the Ho Chi Minh road to the agent orange mountain, a reminder of the war times. After this, several visits await for us in the third day, including the local hydro power plant, tea plantation and factory (the famous B'lao tea comes from this area), chopsticks factory, a minority village and the passion fruit farm. We finish the day on Bao Loc, where you can relax and take a walk in this beautiful town.
The fourth day we say goodbye to the Central Highlands on our way to the beach. You will enjoy the change on the landscape as we get closer to the dunes, stopping in a local village before we reach Mui Ne. In the city, a quick shower in the hotel and directly to the beach to enjoy the dunes and the sunset over the sea!
On the fifth day we will drive along the coast line direction Long Hai. On our way we will pay a visit to the Whale Temple (a local fishing men belief) and to the Cham Tower and we will stop to see the local dragon fruit and salt farms, all while enjoying the incredible view of the ocean.
On our way to Saigon, we will visit the famous Cu Chi tunnels, an immense network of connecting underground tunnels streching for over 200KM. Location of severe military campaigns, these tunnels played a vital part in the war against USA. Riding down to the city, the hustle and bustle of Saigon awaits for you, a more than noticeable contrast after five days of countryside and little towns!
